OCRA’s residential and master planning experience ranges from initial feasibility advice to help assess viability of sites for land deals, to North Devon planning applications including public and wider stakeholder consultations, outline and detailed planning applications and on site services.
We enjoy working with specialist landscape and ecology teams along with transport engineers to ensure that from early stages the site is considered as a whole which we feel drives up the quality of the design and de-risks the site for our clients. Our experience in North Devon planning and residential development throughout the south-west has ranged from developing a five unit sustainable housing scheme in Devon, through to master planning much larger urban extensions as part of our consultancy service. This broad range of experience helps ensure that we consider both the micro and macro scale of each development. We believe our designs make the most out of the site and for our clients.
We enjoy working with responsible developers who place emphasis and value, on sustainability and socially diverse schemes and are particularly pleased where we can develop a scheme with these two core principles at their heart. The wide range of residential experience behind OCRA has enabled us to assess various construction methodologies which helps to inform building types, project viability and feed into providing cost certainty at an early stage. Working closely with our PM and QS colleagues we try to focus on these elements as early as possible in a scheme to ensure the project is a success.
